Turkey has many historical and archeological sites mentioned in the Bible that are important in Christianity. They were visited by Paul, Timothy, Barnabas, John and other saints and apostles.

 But the contemporary situation is that the Turkish people are primarily Moslem and there are many beautiful mosques built for Friday prayers and other Islamic worship.

 The Turkish government has recognized the integrity and work-ethic of Christian volunteers who help Turkish children and teachers to improve their educational opportunities.
